Puff pastry dough method at home

Puff pastry is one of the most famous and delicious  French pastries. They are light, spongy and crispy puff pastry sheets  used in many savory and sweet recipes, and come in a variety of fillings.   Ready-made puffs are sold frozen in stores, but we'll show you how to make puffs at home and use it to make many great recipes, try  and enjoy Its crispy texture and delicious taste.





Puff Pastry Ingredients:

Puff Pastry Recipe 

 3 cups  flour 

2 cups butter , room temperature 

1/2 cup  liquid butter

  Pinch of salt 

 1 tablespoon lime juice

  ice water



Puff Method 

Place flour with salt, lime juice and liquid butter in a deep bowl, add cold water slowly and knead all  ingredients until  a smooth and sticky dough is obtained. 

 Place the dough in the refrigerator after wrapping it in plastic wrap for half an hour.  Divide the butter into six equal parts. 

Using a rolling pin or rolling pin, roll the dough onto a floured surface and put some butter in the center, then fold the 4 edges of the dough in the center and lower it  gently and slowly again so  the butter doesn't come out. flour. 

Fold the four ends of the dough, cover with cling film, and refrigerate for half an hour. 

Roll out the dough and put the second  butter in the middle, then fold the edges and roll it out, then cover the dough and put it in the fridge for half an hour. 

Repeat the rolling process with the same steps until  the rest of the butter is used up, remembering to refrigerate the dough every half  hour. 

After finishing the last step, put the wrapped dough in the freezer for 15 minutes and then roll it out one last time without adding butter.







Now the puff pastry  is ready to use and  can be stored in the freezer until properly used.
